For the past five years, staff from the Environmental Policy and Planning Division (EPPD) of the Ministry of Planning, Economic Affairs and Development have undertaken a Christmas Charity Port of Spain Meal Initiative to prepare meals for those in need through the Love All Serve all Kitchen.
The kitchen, located in Port of Spain is part of the International Love All Serve All Initiative and has been operational for over seven years.
The EPPD staff obtain donations of food items from the entire Ministry, making the programme a collaborative venture and staff from the Division with other ministry volunteers participate in the preparation of the meals with the Love All Serve All Staff.
This year, Deputy Permanent Secretaries Candice Ramsaran and Melanie Noel were on hand to support the team effort.
Over time, with the assistance of many volunteers, the staff of the International Love All Serve All Kitchen have prepared over 500,000 meals for less fortunate in the Port of Spain area. This year, on December 18, 2025, the staff of the EPPD were happy to contribute to the preparation of 161 meals to spread a little more Christmas joy and spirit.
