GLOCAL EVALUATION WEEK 2026
Evaluation, Evidence and Trust in the Age of AI. June 1–5, 2026.
How can Latin America and the Caribbean prepare for the changes that artificial intelligence is bringing to monitoring and evaluation? How can we use AI to strengthen, rather than fragment the region’s monitoring and evaluation, M&E, capacities?
Join the regional launch of Glocal Evaluation Week 2026 to explore how Latin America and the Caribbean can proactively answer these questions.
The theme for the regional opening event for Latin America and the Caribbean of the Glocal Evaluation Week 2026 is Evaluating in the Age of AI: The Time to Prepare is Now — and Together.
This virtual event, convened by the Center for Learning on Evaluation and Results for Latin America and the Caribbean, CLEAR LAC, will bring together experts from government, academia, international organizations, and civil society to discuss opportunities, risks, capacity gaps, and collaborative strategies for strengthening evidence systems and trust in the age of AI.
The Ministry of Planning, Economic Affairs and Development is pleased to announce that Ms. Camille Spencer, Programme Director, M&E of the National Transformation Unit of Trinidad and Tobago will be part of an international panel of experts participating in this forum.
This event is virtual.

ABOUT GLOCAL EVALUATION WEEK
Glocal Evaluation Week is an annual knowledge-sharing event connecting a global community across sectors and regions to discuss evaluation. Each year, thousands of participants from around the world attend in-person and virtual events to exchange insights on a wide range of M&E topics. By fostering discussions on M&E, Glocal inspires and strengthens a worldwide movement of individuals and organizations committed to using evidence-based practices to improve lives. Since 2019, Glocal has hosted thousands of events across six continents and is now recognised as one of the world’s largest M&E knowledge-sharing initiatives. The 2025 edition on the theme of Evaluation for a Better Future: Environmental Sustainability, Inclusion and Peace engaged more than 16,000 registered participants.
Participants and event organisers include international organisations, national and subnational M&E bodies, government entities at various levels, decision-makers, evaluation commissioners, voluntary organisations for professional evaluation, academics, researchers and students—all connecting to share, learn and collaborate. By participating, attendees not only gain knowledge and connections but actively contribute to building the evaluation field itself.
