Legal Adviser
The Ministry of Planning and Development is in the process of
sourcing a Legal Advisor to fill the contract position on its
establishment.
Core Functions
- Advise on legal issues that arise in the day-to-day
operations of the Ministry;
- Assist in the preparation of Agreements, Memoranda of
Understanding and project documents with legal implications;
- Vet documents with potential legal implications for the
Ministry;
- Support the Ministry in securing a higher level of
compliance with legislation and in particular in the enforcement
of land use planning and advertisement controls;
- Assist with Court Action, through attendance in Court and
liaison with the Legal Departments of the Ministry of the
Attorney General.
